Account Executive

We’re looking for a proactive Account Executive to join our small but growing agency.

The ideal candidate will possess strong sales, interpersonal and organisational skills. They should be comfortable with multitasking and be able to budget their resources in order to meet the assigned quotas for their role.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships
• Track and record metrics throughout sales process
• Promote and sell additional services to customers
• Meet and liaise with clients to discuss and identify their marketing and design requirements
• Work with agency colleagues to devise marketing campaigns that meet the client’s brief and budget
• Present (alongside agency colleagues) the campaign ideas and budget to the client
• Brief media, creative and research staff and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies
• Liaise with, and act as the link between, the client and our agency by maintaining regular contact with both
• Ensure that communication flows effectively
• Negotiate with clients and agency staff about the details of campaigns
• Present creative work to clients for approval or modification
• Handle budgets, manage campaign costs, and invoice clients
• Write client reports
• Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns
• Undertake administrative tasks
• Arrange and attend meetings and video-conferences
• Make pitches, along with other agency staff, with the aim of securing new business for the agency
• Assist marketing team where needed (social media posts etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree 2-3 years of business experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions
• Proficient in Indesign (preferable but not essential)

Experience

• Will consider Account Executive experience and/or Marketing Assistant experience
• Knowledge of the construction industry is a bonus but not essential
• Interests in Marketing, Design, Photography, Video

Location

• A mixture of office-based, working from home, and client meetings at their place of work
• The first 3 months will be exclusively office-based, in UKCoM’s Covid-19 secure south London office in Herne Hill.

Salary 

• Dependant on experience

You will be working across our two agencies UK Construction Marketing and our sister agency Number Violet.
